For the first time in more than 600 years the University of Rostock will be headed by a woman. Kinomatics researcher Elizabeth Prommer, has smashed the ivory ceiling and succeeds the 908 men that previously occupied top position at Germany’s third oldest university. Elizabeth steps into to the new appointment in April 2023, from her current role as Professor of Communication and Media Studies and Director of the Institute for Media Research. The entire Kinomatics team is thrilled for Elizabeth and wishes her every success.
